Well, I found an incredible Jordan Peterson video about why growing up is so hard and the challenges many people face. That is the point that you have to choose what you are going to do with your life. Dr. Peterson calls it, “Choosing your damn sacrifice” this is a narrowing of your options. This is the training period, where you have chosen to do something with your life.
This training period is like a door. You have 10 friends they all can’t fit through the door. someone has to be first, then second, then third, then so on till the last person goes through the door. Dr. Peterson talks about how you have this low-resolution potential. You can be anything but you really aren’t anything.
He talks about how you can pick your sacrifice and that schools are not helping kids at all, it is Pleasure Island. The cost is debt. The challenge is that changing from adolescence to adulthood and the choice has to be made yet we wind up with a bunch of adult infants which as Dr. Peterson said it is sad.
