The Effects of Stress

Stress causes lots of problems though it can be good for you when you are in a pinch. Yet when we live in a world of stress there are many different problems with the stress that comes about.

Stress not only can cause your brain to shrink it also can affect even your genes. Thanks to the Hypothalamus Adrenal axis. With the increasing presence of cortisol, you have more connections to your fear center. That famous lizard part of your brain. This, in turn, weakens your ability to even control your stress.

You also start top lose connections in your brain so you develop more memory loss and even your ability to concentrate.

Even though you might even be able to pass down how you handle stress to your kids and their kids. But don’t worry too much because it can be reversed.

You can change how you handle and relieve stress by exercising and practicing mindful meditation.
