The Art of Alone

This week we are talking about solitude and why you actually need to be alone from time to time. I found a great Ted Talk by Niqolas Ruud and he talks about why men need to have time to themselves. Why taking time to breathe and be off alone for a bit is actually healing to a man’s mindset.

Niqolas talks about how we are afraid of being alone in solitude. Many times we don’t want to be alone because we are afraid. Many times we think isolation is being alone.

Our speaker talks about how he was angry and full of negativity that is until he went off by himself. Many times our fear of solitude is because we don’t trust ourselves to be up to do the task by ourselves.
