How To Act When Someone Lets You Down

What do you do when someone lets you down? This is a question that many people often struggle with. They either try to just wave it off or they blow up and just scorched earth all the relationships around you.

Feel the emotions

This is one that many nice guys refuse to do. They will not allow themselves to feel any emotions. If they do feel emotions they frantically try to find something that will change that emotion. They are resisting the emotions they have. So this causes problems and forces men to not be able to do the next step.

Confront

You need to confront the problem. Running from that problem down;t make it go away, though many men have tried this time and time again. To be able to have true completion and close the circle you have to confront the person who caused the offense.

Now you do not have to go full Karen but you do need to confront the problem at hand. You can have a conversation and actually let the other person still have their feelings while you have your own. It is weird I understand but it is something that is possible.

Then Make your decision

So do you forgive them or not? This is where you get to make that decision. With the decision you make, you can find a resolution. It isn’t going to be easy and depending on what they did to let you down the choice may even be heartbreaking. You can find resolution in the end.
