Two Goal Programs

Now, these past several weeks I have been talking about goal settings and I am sure you are saying enough! I cant with your goals!

And you are right it is a lot about goals, but that is because I want to accomplish my goals this year. I have such a strong taste for accomplishing what I have my eyes set on that I can see me accomplishing my goal and the benefits I will have, meeting and exceeding my goal sets.

Now There are several different ways you can set your goals. But I wanted to talk about two styles that many people online have has success with. So let’s look at two great goal setting strategies.

Dan Miller Goal Worksheet

If you don’t know who Dan Miller is he is the author of 48 Days To The Work You Love, No More Dreaded Mondays and Wisdom Meets Passion. He also has a coaching program that I hope to take in the very near future when I complete my goals for 2019.

Dan is big on goals, in fact, he has his goals set by Nov 19 that is 48 days till the end of the year. Dan has a set of goals he wants to complete he works his way through his goal worksheet.

Dans Approach is different than many folks. One big difference is that he doesn’t look to just next year. He also looks 3 years down the road. That way he knows if his goals are in line with what he wants to get down in the future. It would be terrible if you took the time to accomplish a goal that didn’t further your progress through life.

Download the worksheet and see how it helps you.

Michael Hyatt Best Year Ever

Now Michael has an interesting story and he tells it in the videos that he made for this program. Many people know Michael Hyatt from his Platform Book. Michael also has a great approach to goal setting. His approach is not to tackle just the goal because you could possibly miss other important facets of your life. and that is how he looks at goal setting by using what he called the multifaceted approach.

Michael has 10 interconnected facets that you want to pay attention to these facets are..

  1. Spiritual
  2. Intellectual
  3. Emotional
  4. Physical
  5. Marital
  6. parental
  7. Social
  8. Vocational
  9. Avocational
  10. Financial

Each of these works together to make a whole you. Do you have a hobby? Why not? Then you may need to focus on the Avocational section a little more. Very interesting way to approach goals and having a great overall year.

If you would like to take his little workshop you can do so on His site Best Year Ever
